Archerion Labs, in Pasco County, Florida, operates Speed Reader at archerionlabs.com. These terms are an agreement between you and us. Write to RJ@archerionlabs.com and a person answers.

Speed Reader shows you your own text one word at a time, fast. On the free tier a reading session expires about an hour after you create it and is deleted shortly after it expires or finishes; that is the design, not a defect. Rate limits, currently twenty sessions an hour from the web and two hundred through the MCP tool, are part of the service too. A paid plan keeps your reads until you delete them, opens them on any device you are signed in to, and lifts the hourly limits. We tune limits and features as the product grows, and we do not promise any particular feature stays free forever.

You do not need an account to read. If you make one, give us a real email address, keep your sign-in to yourself, and treat what happens under your account as yours. Speed Reader is not for children under sixteen.

The text you paste stays yours. You give us only the narrow licence we need to store it, process it, and display it back to you, which is the entire point of the product. We do not send your text to any AI model, we do not read it, and we do not sell it. In return, paste only what you have the right to use, and nothing unlawful.

Paid plans are subscriptions billed through Stripe at the price shown at checkout. They renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do any time from the billing portal; your access then runs to the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund partial periods beyond what the law where you live requires. If we change a price, we tell you before it applies to your next renewal. If we ever discontinue Speed Reader entirely, we refund active subscribers the unused part of what they paid.

Do not probe, break, overload, or work around the service's limits; do not resell access; do not use it to store or route content that is unlawful or that you have no right to hold. We can rate limit, suspend, or close accounts that do, and for anything ordinary we will warn you first.

You can delete your account yourself, any time, from the Your Data page; deletion is immediate from the live database, and the privacy policy describes exactly what happens, including the seven-day backup tail. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms.

Speed Reader is provided as it is. We are a small shop and we do not promise the service is uninterrupted or flawless, though we care that it is good. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ten dollars if you have paid us nothing. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law does not let us take away.

When these terms change materially we bump the version at the top and ask you to accept again before your next purchase. We do not quietly rewrite history.

Florida law governs these terms. If something goes wrong, email us first and give us a chance to fix it like people; small claims court remains available to both of us.
